A three day workshop, "Gandhi for All" for the school students of Sikheda village, Meerut, U.P.

A three day workshop, "Gandhi for All" for the school students of Sikheda village, Meerut, U.P. was organized by the Department of Museology, National Museum Institute as a part of the ongoing celebration of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The aim of the workshop is to reach out to students of far flung areas for whom it is difficult to visit museums.
 
 

Day 1:

Date: 19th February 2019 - The first day of the workshop included a photo exhibition, storytelling session followed by a session on traditional weaving practices thus explaining students about the life, philosophy, teachings and beliefs of Mahatma Gandhi.
     
     
     
     
     

Day 2:

Date: 20th February 2019 - Educational activities based on Gandhi ji's principle cleanliness and hygiene.
