Research forms the core of all activities at the Department of History of Art and a wide range of inter-disciplinary research has been produced. Students are encouraged to identify areas which have not been worked upon so far to create innovative and novel research. Students are also provided with training in research techniques to help them understand the relationship between the arts and social phenomena.
