Short Term Course on ‘Buddhist Cultural Heritage: Interpretations and Preservation’

The department of History of Art in collaboration with Ministry of External Affairs conducted an online week long introductory course on Buddhism titled, ‘Buddhist Cultural Heritage: Interpretations and Preservation’ for international students from 22nd to 26th March, 2021. The total number of 25 students participated from 10 countries. The course work was divided into 7 lectures delivered by eminent scholars and introduced the students to Buddhism and Buddhist art from India and South-East Asia.
