- Two day International Conference on “EU- India Partnership on Cultural Heritage”4-5 December 2018
The Department of Conservation, National Museum Institute in collaboration with the European Unions and its Member State organized two day International Conference on “EU- India Partnership on Cultural heritage Conservation”. The Conference provided an opportunity to the students to learn about the Digital recording of Cultural Heritage sites, Disaster management risk to heritage site due to urbanisation, pollution and population, Scholarships available in European Union in the field of heritage conservation and higher education were also discussed.
The conference was organised towards celebration of European Union of Cultural heritage 2018. The Conference also discussed many flagship collaboration between EU and India, on 4-5 December, 2018.

Indo-Austrian collaboration, a Roundtable meeting was held at National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology(NMIHACM), in February 2011.

International Council of Museums- Committee for Conservation (ICOM) - This conference takes place in every 3 years. In 2008, the country elected was India. This 5 days conference was held at Vigyan Bhawan from September 22-26, 2008,in collaboration with National Museum Institute and National Research Laboratory for conservation of cultural property in which more than 100 countries participated and all the conservation students were allowed to participate in the event. Exposure to such a prestigious channel at the beginning of their career provided them with a broader horizon of Conservation field.
