CELEBRATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
   
 

Organized a special lecture on the occasion of the International Women’s Day (Date: 09-03-2020)

The National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology organised a special lecture on 09-03-2020 for the International Women’s Day. Prof. Malashri Lal was invited who spoke on ‘Sita, our Contemporary’. The talk traced the different perspectives on one of the Ramayana’s famous characters, Sita. All staff, officers, faculty member and students attended the lecture.

Prof. Lal discussed the different facets of Sita which draws parallel to the boldness and determination of contemporary woman while also pointing towards the portrayal of Sita in books and broadcast media.
