PUBLICATIONS OF NMI 

The Institute brings out prestigious publications from time to time. The following are the notable publications brought out during the last 2-3 years:

1.   Based on the proceedings of an International seminar held in March, 2003 by the Institute in collaboration with the International Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), a book titled "Cultural Interface of India with Asia : Religion, Art and Architecture" was published in May, 2004. Prof. Anupa Pande and Dr. Parul Pandya Dhar of the Department of History of Art edited the book.

2.    A book titled "God & King: The Devaraja Cult in South Asian Art & Architecture" and edited by Prof. Arputharani Sengupta in the Department of History of Art based on the proceedings of a National seminar held by the Institute was published in March, 2005.

3.    The Institute brought out another prestigious publication in 2006 ‘Restoration of Indian Miniature Paintings’ written by Shri K.K. Gupta, a visiting faculty member in the Department of Conservation of the Institute.
