for filling up of temporary
posts of Research Assistants
Applications on plain
paper are invited from eligible candidates for five posts of Research
Assistants on a consolidated remuneration of Rs.10,000/- per month
in the following projects of the Institute:

Characterization
of Metallic Antiquities using a non-destructive technique - (1 post)
-
Digitization
& Automation of Slide Collection - (1 post)
-
Documentation
of objects in Jhajjar Museum - (2 posts)
- Tipu
Sultan`s contribution to Art & Architecture - (1 post)
Essential
Qualifications
-
Candidate
should have Master’s degree with at least 55% of marks (relaxable
for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Govt. Rules) in
– (i) Conservation/Chemistry/Physics/Life Sciences in respect of
post mentioned at S.No.1 above; (ii) History of Art / History /
Museology/ Conservation Sciences in respect of post mentioned at
S.No.2, 3 and 4 above.
- Working
knowledge of computer
Desirable Qualifications
-
Experience of working in research projects in respect of post
mentioned at S.No.1 above.

Proficiency in computerized digital documentation and
knowledge of
a classical Indian language / foreign language in respect of post
mentioned at S.No.2 above
-
Experience of working in a museum of repute as an employee/intern
in respect of post mentioned at S.No.3 above.
Age
limit: Not to exceed 40 years as on 1.1.2007 subject to relaxation
as per Government of India Rules.
Note:
The numbers of posts are tentative and can be decreased or
increased depending upon the needs of the project.
Eligible
