Two- Day Workshop on Photography and Film Making (19th & 21st July, 2022)

M.A. 2nd and 4th semester students under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Anupa Pande, Director/Pro-VC & and HoD (HoA), and Dr. Savita Kumari, Registrar I/c and Assistant Professor (HoA). The workshop was conducted by Ar. Dushyant Josh, Principal Architect and Founder of Studio Akauru Design. The first day of the workshop started with an interactive lecture on 'Introduction to filmmaking and photography' and given a practical session on storyboarding/sketching. On the second day, the demonstration on handling a video camera, tripod, and shooting a scene was given to the students. The students were also given a task to make 2 min short video having any social message.

This workshop resulted in a great learning opportunity for students to learn and practice the technique of videography and photography. This has helped them in understanding the process of documentation and prepared them for their fieldwork.
