The Department of History of Art, organized a two-day workshop on ‘Relief Printmaking Linocut’ on 21st and 22nd November, 2019 for the 3rd – semester students and research scholars. The first day of the workshop began with a lecture on printmaking by Shri Surender K. Mishra and a brief demonstration on linocut technique. On the second day, the students continued the workshop, working with the provided linocut tools by carefully carving on the lino sheet. The workshop came to an end by taking out beautiful prints of the designs created by the students.
