The Departments of History of Art organised a one-day educational trip to Government Museum, Mathura and Govind Dev Temple, Vrindavan for their MA students of 3rd Semester on 4th October, 2019. This trip helps the student to understand the development of Mathura school of art from Kushan to Gupta Period by visually seeing the sculpture of Government Museum of Mathura. In Vrindavan, they explore the seven-story structure of Govind Dev Temple, build by Raja Man Singh of Jaipur in 1590 under the rule of Mughal emperor Akbar.
